The introductory meeting is a place for Athena and the athlete to get to know one another. Additionally, Athena will provide an overview of the recruiting process, the services which are provided, the package fee and answer any  questions the families may have prior to moving forward with the ASA team.

Athletes will be guided on creating detailed communication emails and strategies with proven track records of success on how to efficiently and effectively introduce yourself to collegiate programs abroad. Communication timeframes will be provided throughout the year to appropriately engage and maintain relationships with networking coaches. Additionally, support in college coach responses on managing multiple networks simultaneously, professionally and responsibly 

In person or virtually depending on athlete and schedules with clear working points and targets, reviewing communications, content creation, academic assessment and more.

Guidance and preparation for taking virtual meetings with college coaches, including understanding the language use by the north American volleyball landscape and how this translates to the Australian athlete. Athena will also support in guiding appropriate questions to ask and assist in prompting clarification or requesting further detail in support of the athlete and their families during the call. 

Strategic guidance on the appropriate language, video, interaction and content to promote yourself to collegiate coaches and staff 

Breakdowns and explanations of the appropriate type of degree and academic targets for each individual, and targeting appropriate schools

There are hundreds of strong programs looking for athletes, you may just not be aware of who they are yet being an international recruit. Athena will clearly outline the various programs, their level of play and eliminate myths and misconceptions of the various sporting bodies. Additionally, Athena will be explain the various financial resources each conference has for their recruits, and the different types of recruits
